ACM Parts has successfully participated in its first Australian Collision Repair Expo, giving the industry the chance to learn more about the new business.

The Collision Repair Expo was held in Melbourne, with more than 10,000 people from 20 countries attending.

ACM Parts CEO Mike Kirkman said the Expo had been a great opportunity to introduce ACM Parts to the marketplace.

“We had a positive response from many people at the expo wanting to know more about how ACM Parts will deliver better value to repairers,” Mr Kirkman said.

“It was good for us to have an opportunity to talk face-to-face with repairers and the wider industry about the ACM Parts range.

“Our range includes NSF Certified parts, which are a new benchmark in Australia. These parts are being tested for certification locally for the Australian market,” Mr Kirkman said.

NSF Certified parts are tested to ensure they are to OE parts for fit, form and function, but they are much more affordable.

ACM Parts also used its appearance at the expo as an opportunity to explain more about its recycled parts range.

“There is a huge opportunity to recycle and re-use OE parts in Australia. We have around 600,000 cars being retired from the roads each year,” Mr Kirkman said.

ACM Parts aims to deliver efficiencies in Australia’s automotive parts supply chain and raise industry standards regarding the safety, quality and affordability of parts for repairers and consumers.
